The Big Book of Spring is a community anthology of artworks created at a workshop delivered as part of Sholing Valleys’ Spring Fayre 2022. Participants were invited to reflect on their surroundings of Millers Pond Local Nature Reserve, to consider what it feels, looks, sounds and smells like in the spring, as well as any memories or imaginaries that emerge.
After the event, artworks were curated and published as a book. This final output represents a collective community reflection of this one urban wild setting, at one particular time, through a diverse array of sensorial viewpoints.
